  Lunch Wed. July 5 was just what AJ and I needed - gloomy miserable day - so we decided to go to Josephine's and as usual we were not let down! Rose took our order for Calabrese without hesitation altho it is not on the lunch menu, the Italian sausage and eggplant was very good and to top it off Prosecco! Always welcoming and feel like we are old friends (which we are - might add tho no emphasis on the old but rather from the good old days in Spencer St!) Please don't change! Maybe one day I'll get AJ to order something else Rose! Thanks also to Luke does a great job front of house.

  Italian for our anniversary dinner. Very disappointed. I got the seafood platter. I expected it done in an Italian style sauce with the squid and prawns sauteed through the sauce, drizzled over a moist piece of fish. In reality I got a dry piece of fish, squid which was battered soggy and clumpy with chips and a basic side salad which was put on the plate like Mum's weekday dinner. Pub style food at best. I have had better at my local pub. They asked about our meals and I told them about the food. At payment time they never offered a discount on the food even though it was poorly cooked and I didn't eat it all.
